Guitar Pro 7.5

Guitar Pro 7.5 is software that is simply amazing. It works on your PC or Mac and it allows you to play or create tablature and see the tab light up on your Fretlight guitar.

Click this link for directions on Connecting your Guitar to Your Device.

Guitar Pro 7.5 is a tab notation program that cleverly plays tab and displays it on the Fretlight guitar. Thousands of tabs are available free online. Other features include tempo, looping, different guitar parts, open tunings, chords and scales, and much more!

You Fretlight connects to Guitar Pro 7.5 via Bluetooth. There are preferences for what is displayed on your Fretlight. You can choose to see tablature, chord patterns or even overlay a scale on your Fretlight so you can improvise over the tab you're listening to. You can even limit the scale to a certain number of frets spanning an area of the neck that you choose. Connect a Bluetooth footswitch, like the iRig BlueTurn, and work hands free setting the footswitches to change tempo, start or stop a song, go back to the last measure, and so much more!

The sound engine offers more than 1000 sounds (presets) using 200 soundbanks and 80 effects/amps modeling recorded in studio. Select your sounds among our built-in sounds or create your own presets.

Guitar Pro 7.5 has a completely redesigned tuning window to make it more intuitive and easy to use. Now customize the tunings of your tracks string by string in just one click. Of course, those custom tunings are reflected on the Fretlight as well...just don't forget to change the tuning on the Fretlight itself.

Guitar Pro 7.5 has thousands of chords in its vast library. You can search for chords or you can even draw them on a diagram and Guitar Pro 7.5 will tell you the name of the chord. Best of all, you can see these chords light up all over the neck of your Fretlight Guitar.

There are thousands of scales to choose from in Guitar Pro 7.5 from the most common to very exotic. By dragging over an area of a tab (or selecting the entire tab), the scale function in Guitar Pro 7.5 will automatically suggest the correct scales to use in order of most useful to least useful and of course, that scale will light up on your Fretlight guitar.

Here's a few other helpful tips to know...

Where do I get Songs/Tabs from?

There are really two places to get tabs from. You can purchase them from My SONGBOOK or you can download them from the Ultimate Guitar website:

mySongBook has thousands of very accurate tabs, professionally created but you pay for them. They do have bundle deals and different offers available. (click the LOGO to go to their website)

Ultimate Guitar has millions of tabs which are FREE because they are user created and uploaded. Each tab is rated by the community. The more stars and downloads it has, the accurate it probably is. (click the LOGO to go to their website)

How do I slow the tempo down?

In the upper right hand area of the screen you will see a tempo icon. Click the small arrows to the right of that and a drop down menu will appear. Choose your tempo.

How do I set a loop for a section(s)?

In the upper right hand area of the screen you'll see a loop icon. Click the icon to enable/disable looping. To set a loop simply highlight an area and drag the area to the size you want.

Enjoy all the Guitar Pro 7.5 features for 30 days so you can "Try Before You Buy".
