The FG-621 Shelby Crush Wireless Electric is a classic design with sleek contours. The Strat-style alder body gives the guitar that timeless look. The Shelby Designs Crush Pickup System features our high output Alnico II magnets in a traditional humbucker/(2) rails single coil design. The push-pull volume pot controls the taping of the standard size humbucker between full humbucker and true single coil. The two-way truss rod ensures that no matter what the environmental conditions, the neck remains straight and true.
The Shelby Crush system features three humbucker pickups, one traditional and two rails. The two rails pickups in the neck and middle position are actual humbuckers that fit into a single coil space. The rail "blades" are fully shielded to deliver low-noise and lots of punch. These rail pickups give you a nice hybrid sound in the middle and neck positions. The single bridge humbucker pickup is definitely the workhorse of the group delivering traditional fat crunch. However, tap the coil (pull up on the push pull volume knob) and the bridge humbucker reduces its workload to a sweet single coil delivering a modern crunch tone and a warm clean tone.
The FG-621 Electric includes our patented wireless lighted learning system and allows a player to light-up songs, chords, scales and riffs right on the neck of the guitar. The Fretlight Wireless Electric connects to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth BLE.
